When the pandemic hit, we saw those working in healthcare repeatedly go above and beyond the call of duty. Since late 2020, we honored dozens of these individuals as New Hampshire Healthcare Heroes. The effort was so well received that we want to do it again because their stories are powerful and inspirational and may encourage others to consider a career in healthcare. We’re asking healthcare providers across the state to nominate an individual who has gone above and beyond their role this year.
How it works
Nomination timeline: August 8 - September 16, 2022
Who can be nominated: We welcome nominations for clinical and nonclinical providers, administrators, educators, facilities, custodial and kitchen staff, and others who provide direct or indirect care to patients and families.
Selection process: The NH Healthcare Heroes board of volunteers will review the nominations and announce one winner and two runners-up for each region in the state.
What the heroes get: Healthcare Heroes will be honored in a pinning ceremony hosted with each winner’s employer and streamed on Facebook Live. Each winner will receive a banner and customized swag bag from our supporters.
The goal
To recognize these amazing heroes and to encourage others to consider a healthcare career in New Hampshire.
We are soliciting sponsors for swag bag items and donations to continue the effort in telling the stories of those who do so much for all of us.
